The most expensive Apple Watch will cost Rs 10.65 lakhs before taxes!
Oh dear! We knew the Apple Watch Edition collection would be expensive but little did we know it would be this expensive! The prices of the top-end limited edition of the Apple Watch start at $10,000 (approximately Rs 6.27 lakhs before taxes) but the most expensive one is priced at $17,000 or Rs 10.65 lakh before taxes! If we add taxes and the usual markup Apple charges, this variant could easily top Rs 15 lakhs in India! This for a piece of technology encased in 18k gold that is likely to be outdated within two years.
There are two Apple Watch Edition models that are priced at $17,000. The one pictured above is the 38mm 18-Karat Yellow Gold Case with Bright Red Modern Buckle. The other is the 38mm 18-Karat Rose Gold Case with Rose Gray Modern Buckle. Surprisingly, the 42mm variants that have a bigger watch face and should logically have more gold are “cheaper”, if we may use the term.
