We have come to know practically everything about the Apple Watch since its unveiling last September — everything except its launch date. That is however about to change as the Cupertino-based giant has announced a media event scheduled for March 9, 9To5Mac reports.

Apple has invited the media to gather at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on March 9. Details are practically non-existent, and the invite simply reads ‘Spring forward’. But we are ready to put up a wager that Apple will be launching the Watch on that day. The time frame is also in line with Apple Retail SVP Angela Ahrendts’ video message to retail employees, wherein she says that the Apple Watch will be coming in spring.

As mentioned above, we know nearly everything about the forthcoming Watch, and CEO Tim Cook had already revealed that pricing will start at $349 for the aluminum Sport model. On March 9 however, Cook is likely to reveal the pricing of the regular variant and luxurious Apple Watch Edition, as well as the availability details.

There have also been rumors about a completely redesigned 12-inch Apple MacBook Air, and a large-screened iPad Pro. But there is little chance that the company will unveil any of these next month, and instead will solely focus on one of its biggest launches since the iPad in 2010.
