bgr-samsung-galaxy-note-4-2Samsung’s hardware is as well known as its software is infamous. In other words, its flagship devices are packed to the brim in terms of specifications, but are let down by the clunky TouchWiz UI. That is however going to change with the forthcoming Galaxy S6, if a Business Korea report is to be believed.

The publication claims that as a part of the Project Zero — wherein Samsung is designing everything from scratch — the company is again overhauling the TouchWiz UI. The UI was last revamped at the launch of the Galaxy S5. It had a much flatter look and was faster than before, yet the UI was clunky and had a host of unnecessary features.

With the forthcoming Galaxy S6 however, Samsung is believed to be removing all the unnecessary features. If the publication is to be believed, the next version of the TouchWiz UI will be as light and fast as stock Android running on the Google Nexus 6.

Samsung is believed to be planning on unveiling the flagship Galaxy S6 sometime next month. The company is also said to have showcased the flagship device to a select few at CES last week. From what we have heard so far, the Galaxy S6 is turning out to be a monster of a device.

It is expected to flaunt a QHD Super AMOLED display sized somewhere between 5.2-inch to 5.5-inch. It will be powered by an Exynos 7420 chipset or a Snapdragon 810 chipset depending upon the region, and will also feature 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 20-megapixel camera.
