The Micromax Bolt AD3520 wants to spice up the entry-level segment by carrying more features than you can expect for a price tag of just Rs 3490. The new smartphone has been released by the Indian OEM carrying entertainment-focused features.

One of the main highlights of the Micromax Bolt AD3520 which is clearly visible from the image below is the dual front-facing speaker setup. This isn’t something new we’re seeing, but a rare thing to find on a super cheap smartphone. Of course, the quality and output of the hardware is yet to be evaluated.

The Micromax device also incorporated dedicated music controls such as a play, previous and forward button just below the capacitive navigation keys. The phone’s overall design is pretty decent and you get a basic Android experience and the goodness of KitKat out of the box. A 3.5-inch HVGA display is located on the front with a VGA camera, and the rear has a 2MP fixed-focus snapper.

On the inside, there’s a 1.3GHz dual core processor doing the heavy lifting, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage which can be expanded up to 32GB more via the microSD card slot. The 1500mAh battery is capable of delivering up to 5 hours of talk time or around 175 hours of standby. There’s dual SIM support as well, but no 3G connectivity.
