While all the buzz has been around the forthcoming flagship One (M9) aka Hima and the smartwatch, HTC is also set to unveil new Desire handsets at MWC. One such handset is the Desire 626, and leakster @Upleaks has revealed photos and specifications of the device.

According to the leakster, the Desire 626 will feature a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and as HTC has done recently launch two variants of the handset with different processors — 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core paired with 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone will also feature a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 16GB internal storage, and a 2,000mAh battery. On the software front, it is said to run on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under Sense UI, but will soon be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

As mentioned above, HTC is also widely believed to unveil its flagship One (M9) and its first smartwatch at the MWC event. From what we have heard so far, the former will boast a 5-inch full HD display, 2GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel selfie camera, and on the software front run on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop wrapped under Sense 7 UI.

As for the smartwatch, it is expected to be heavily focused on fitness, which was evident from the company’s recent partnership with American sportswear maker Under Armour. According to publications, the device could be an “electronic bracelet” with Google Now integration and capability to play music.
