Moments ago, Apple released its first update for iOS 8, which was supposed to fix a bunch of bugs on the new operating system. But the iOS 8.0.1 update is turning out to be a nightmare, as many users are reporting issues with the update including “no cell service and broken Touch ID.” Update: Apple has pulled iOS 8.0.1 update after a disastrous rollout.

In other words, after updating the phone to iOS 8.0.1, one’s iPhone is rendered useless. As mentioned above, the update was supposed to fix a bunch of issues with Healthkit, third-party keyboards, and also improve the reliability of its Reachability feature among others.

Not surprisingly, users took to Twitter to express their shock, while others saw the funny side of it.
